What do you need help with?
Choose the closest issue. Each path starts with the fastest checks.
The result cannot be found
Check the number and publication status before repeating the search.
No published result was found
- Confirm the four-digit admission year and roll number.
- Remember that the workspace inserts the fixed -ag- section automatically.
- Open the official UAF result source and confirm that the result is currently published.
- Try once more after a short wait if the result was published very recently.
The registration field rejects the number
Enter the year and roll number separately, or paste a complete value such as 2022-ag-7563. Letters and extra separators in numeric fields are removed automatically.
The search is slow or unavailable
A live check cannot finish while the UAF source is slow, offline, or refusing requests.
The portal timed out or returned an error
- Wait briefly, then use Try again once.
- Check whether the official portal opens in another tab.
- Avoid repeated rapid searches; temporary rate limits protect both services.
- If an older result appears, read its freshness label before relying on it.
A cached or previous result is shown
A recent encrypted server copy may be shown to reduce portal load. A stale fallback is clearly labelled and should not be treated as a new live check. Start a new search later when the portal becomes available.
The GPA or CGPA looks different
Review the contributing course rows before comparing the final number.
What should I compare?
- Credit hours and obtained marks for every GPA-bearing course
- Pending, pass/fail, audit, or invalid rows that should not add GPA credits
- Repeated or cross-listed course codes and the attempt retained for CGPA
- Any course marked Needs review
A repeated course is handled differently than expected
The cumulative calculation keeps the strongest valid completed attempt. A later failed, pending, or invalid attempt does not automatically erase an earlier stronger result. Ties are resolved in favor of the later attempt.
Planning tools and downloaded reports
These tools create personal comparisons; they never modify the published record.
What does a course-inclusion preview change?
It temporarily excludes selected existing courses from a browser-only comparison. The original calculated overview and UAF record remain unchanged.
How does the Improvement Advisor work?
It ranks currently counted courses, simulates expected marks, and recalculates the full record through the same repeat-course engine. Saved plans remain in the current browser. The result is an estimate only; UAF decides actual improvement eligibility.
Why is a target CGPA shown as impossible?
The entered future credit hours may be too few to reach the target even with a 4.00 GPA. Increase the planned credits or choose a lower target.
How do I save a PNG or full PDF?
- Open the result workspace.
- Open Share / Export.
- Choose the summary screenshot or full result PDF.
- Protect the downloaded file because it may contain personal academic information.
Reports are generated locally in the browser and are not official UAF transcripts.
Report a calculation or search problem
Send enough context to reproduce the issue without including unnecessary private information.
- The error reference ID, when one is shown
- The action you took and the exact message received
- Your browser and whether the official result portal was working
- A redacted screenshot or the affected course details
